At the lower left corner of your screen is the Start menu button.

Clicking on this displays a menu.

You can click on Programs to display a list of programs.

Some of the entries are for submenus.  These entries have a small arrow on the right side.

Clicking on one of the submenu entries displays a submenu.

Menu items that are used infrequently are hidden.

Clicking on the down arrows in the menu shows the hidden entries.  These entries will also show if you wait for two seconds.

Clicking on a menu entry causes the associated program to start.
