1   Basic text entry operations.
2   Click Start
3   Click Accessories
4   Click WordPad
5   The WordPad window
6   Type the text for your document
7   Here is the text
8   You can select a word by double-clicking it
9   To deselect text...
10   To select a sentence or a paragraph...
11   To select all the text in your document...
12   You can insert/add text anywhere
13   The new text is inserted
14   You can also delete text
15   To move text to a new location
16   The text is moved to the new location
17   To copy text, select the text
18   Then select copy from the pulldown menu
19   Then place the cursor where you want it to be copied Click Paste from the menu
20   The text will be copied
