To print a document, click File > Print.

(Wordpad is shown in this example, but generally, printing from any Windows program is similar.)

The Print dialog box appears. 

A list of installed printers is shown in the Select Printer box. Here the "HP 7550 Plus" printer has been selected (by clicking on it with the mouse). The list of printers available here will be different depending on what printers are connected to your machine.

You can choose the Page Range to print. Here All has been selected.

If you choose Pages in Page Range, type in a range of pages to be printed. You can also type in a list of single pages (e.g. 1,2,4).

You can also specify the number of copies to be printed.

  Click on the image for page view.

Click Print to send the document to the printer to be printed.

  Click on the image for page view.

The Print dialog will close, and the document will be printed. While it is being printed, you can continue working in the program from which you printed.
