Here Windows Explorer has been opened showing the files which were used in the last tutorial.

The same operations that you saw in the last tutorial can be performed on multiple files at one time.

To select one file , click on the file.

To select more than one file , hold down the Ctrl key and click on the files one at a time.

Here you can see that three files have been selected.

To select a range of files at once without having to click on each one individually, click the first file in the range, and then hold down the Shift key and click on the second file in the range. Here four files have been selected with two mouse clicks.

You can also select all of the files in folder by choosing Edit > Select All .

Ctrl+A (hold down the Ctrl key and simultaneously press the "A" key) will accomplish the same effect.

Selecting a range of files can also be accomplished by holding down the Shift key and hitting the up or down arrows on your keyboard.

Once you have selected multiple files, you can do the same operations that were shown in the last tutorial (Copy, Move, Delete and Restore).

In this screenshot four files have been selected. The files have been dragged to the My Notes folder using the right mouse button. The Copy/Move popup menu is showing as it did for a single file.

In this screenshot, the Copy option has been chosen from the popup menu, and the four files have been copied to the My Notes folder.
