Page 1You can configure your Windows 2000 system to display and input Japanese. The input and display will work with most Windows programs, including Microsoft Word and Wordpad. Choose Settings - Control Panel. Page 3The Regional Options dialog opens. Select Japanese as indicated. This is all you need to do in order to be able to view Japanese in most Windows applications. The following pages show how to configure your system so as to be able to input Japanese. Page 8Japanese has been added to your list of installed input locales. Page 12Click on the language icon in your system tray, and choose Japanese. Page 16You can now enter Japanese by typing in the Roman equivalents ("nihongo" is displayed). Page 17Tapping on the space bar allows you to select a kanji equivalent for the hiragana. |
