Configure Windows 2000 to display and input Japanese
Regional options
The Regional Options dialog
The Input Locales tab.
Click Add
Choose Japanese
The input locale has been added
Japanese has been added to your list of installed input locales
Click OK
The language selector now appears in your system tray
Open wordpad
Click on the language icon in your system tray, and choose Japanese
The floating IME toolbar appears
We select Hiragana Input
The icon changes to a hiragana character
You can now enter Japanese
Spacebar to select kanji
