Example Site #2: Consejos Para Todo
This is a very simple site, offering a number of articles and tips on various topics in Spanish, such as travel and health tips. However, even for such a simple site, it is easy to see the benefits in using Joomla over creating this as static HTML pages.
One feature of the site is that there is a menu of articles in the middle of the main page and on the left. This menu reads:
Joomla automatically updates this menu whenever new articles are added. You can place the menu wherever you want, and put the menu in more than one place on the page.
Site search is provided by a Joomla component. Another component lists the pages that are the most popular with viewers (that is, the pages that have been clicked on the most).
As with the JSL site, you can see that Adsense has been added to the pages simply by pasting the Adsense code into the Joomla template. (Adsense is a program by Google that allows you to make money from your website).
