| ScreenBook Maker : Basics Copyrights |
Page 1In a previous tutorial we've seen how a copyright notice can be entered for each page. You can also set the copyright for an entire book. Instead of a page copyright notice, you get a link to another page which describes the copyright for the Screenbook in detail. You can choose from a number of popular copyright formats, including the six Creative Commons copyrights. Page 2Here is the Edit book dialog for the Screenbook we created in a previous tutorial. Note that the default "Page by Page copyright notices" item is checked. Page 3Unchecking this item causes the Screenbook Copyright area to be enabled. Page 4From the pull down, you can choose from a variety of popular copyright formats. Page 5Here we've chosen the Creative Commons - Non Commercial - Share Alike license. We've also entered the copyright owner and year. Page 6In order to save this information, we'll click on the OK button. Page 7The Edit book form appears. We'll click on the Finish icon since we have no further changes to make. Page 8Returning to the main screen, we see that now the page has a "Copyright Notice" link. Page 9Clicking on this link takes us to the copyright page which has been created for this Screenbook. Page 10This copyright page has all the information needed for our copyright, including embedded information. Let's take a look - right click and choose View Source. Page 11In this view of the source of our newly created copyright page, you can see that RDF information useful to search engines has been embedded with information about our copyright. |
