Word 2000 : Basics    Open a Document from Email  

  Screenbook Thumbnail View: Click on an image or page number to go to the page.

1   An MS Word document in an email attachment
2   Double-click on the message which has an attached document
3   The message opens
4   The document opens in MS Word
5   Note that the document no longer has its original name
6   Save the document to your My Documents folder
7   Change the name of the document back to the original name
8   Click on the Save button
9   The document now has its original name
