Here we have a document with a number of items separated into paragraphs.

Select all of the items that you want to be in a bulleted list, then click on the indicated icon.

The items are changed to bulleted items.

If you instead choose this icon, you'll get a numbered list instead.

You can also apply bullets with the Bullet and Numbering dialog.

This is the Bullets and Numbering dialog. In this dialog you can choose from a number of bulleting and numbering styles.

The Outline Numbered tab on the Bullets and Numbering dialog allows you to choose styles for bullet lists that have multiple levels of indentation. (To add a level of indentation to a list, use the indent tool shown in the Spatial Formatting tutorial).
